CCIL's - Case Management Services
Caregiving for a disabled family member or friend can be physically and emotionally stressful for both persons involved. Although every situation is unique in some way, our trained case management professionals have experience dealing with the type of problems you may now be facing. The services provided through these programs can allow caregivers to take breaks to refresh themselves and maintain their health.
The earlier you obtain support and assistance, the better you will be able to cope over a long period and maintain your well-being. If you are a caregiver or need assistance yourself, take a positive step of seeking assistance now. Begin by contacting your local Coordinating Council for Independent Living (CCIL) office to find the help you need.

Aged and Disabled Medicaid Waiver Program
The Aged and Disabled Medicaid Waiver Program is a federally sponsored, state-administered program that waives the regular financial guidelines used to determine Medicaid eligibility. Those who meet the modified requirements are given a Medicaid card, which covers the services outlined in this brochure as well as specified medications, physician visits, procedures, and hospitalizations. Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver (TBIW) Case Management
The Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver (TBIW) program offers in-home support to individuals aged three and above who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, granting exemptions to certain regulations to facilitate West Virginians' ability to receive home-based assistance. These Home and Community-Based Waiver Services are available to those who meet the program's medical and financial criteria, promoting principles of choice, independence, respect, dignity, and community engagement. Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Waiver (IDDW) Medicaid Waiver Program
The Title 19 Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Waiver (IDDW) is a federally mandated home and community-based services program designed to support individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities by providing instruction, training, supervision, and assistance. This program plays a crucial role in fostering community integration and preventing institutionalization, offering a wide range of services tailored to individuals' needs regardless of diagnosis or functioning level.
